Find Your Tribe with FLVS Clubs
Everyone has an innate desire to connect with others who share similar interests—and find our tribe. Just because your classroom may be your bedroom or somewhere along the road of your latest adventure—you can always stay connected with others at Florida Virtual School.
Here, finding your tribe is easy with 60+ clubs to choose from, including coding, cooking, cheer and so much more! So easy in fact, last year we saw more than 5,000 students join at least one club.
With so many new faces, we had a lot to celebrate! Just before the 2020-21 school year ended, we honored outstanding students and club members by recognizing their achievements. Including:
- The Flex Speech & Debate Club students took their first year of competition by storm with one or more students placing in either first, second, or third place in all 10 of their tournaments.
- The Geo Bee Club (nationally affiliated with National Geographic) students have won the Video Competition award from National Geographic three years in a row.
- The eSports Club won competitions in Rocket League (a virtual version of a soccer team using race cars) and came in Second Place in the eSport Rocket League State Tournament this year.
Students also gave back to their communities through service hours. This past school year, FLVS Club members volunteered a total of 4,605 hours. The National Junior Honor Society led with 2,231 hours of community service. We are so proud of every student and club!
Ready to find your tribe? Join us for Club Rush, an annual kickoff for all club activities, on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. for FLVS Flex and Full Time Elementary students and Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. for FLVS Flex and Full Time Middle and High School students.
FLVS is excited to continue this school year with plenty of student clubs and activities to help students find their tribe, connect with their peers, and grow beyond the classroom. Learn more about club offerings at flvs.net/clubs.
Hi, just wanted to know if there are meetup groups in the Miami area for teenagers. My son is a flvs 10th grade student and would like to connect with other kids his age.
Hi Victoria! We don’t have any meet-up scheduled as of yet but you can find other FLVS families in your area on our Facebook Group, facebook.com/groups/floridavirtualschool 🙂

Hi, I’m a FLVS Flex 11th grader. I was wondering when will clubs be open for registering for this year? Also, will there be a recording of Club Rush? I missed the meeting.
