Make your Mark at Florida Virtual School!
Ready to make your mark on Florida Virtual School (FLVS) history? Now’s the time! We’re excited to host our first-ever Mascot Design Contest—October 4- 29, 2021. And the best part? The whole FLVS family is welcome to participate— all students (Flex and Full Time), alumni, parents, teachers, and support staff!
Megabyte will be graduating this year. So, next year each of the FLVS schools (FLVS Full Time K-5, FLVS Full Time 6-8, and FLVS Full Time 9-12) will have their own Mascot to represent their school spirit and inspire their FLVS journey. You can help us create a new mascot for each FLVS school by entering our Mascot Design Contest!
Here’s how the contest works:
Bring your school spirit to life by submitting your mascot design by October 29 at 5 PM EST. And don’t worry, all artistic skills are welcome since our expert design team will bring your vision to life.
Our judges will review the submissions and choose the top three finalists for each school. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
We’ll invite everyone to vote for their favorite entry for each school online from November 9 –17.
The winners and new mascots for each school will be announced on November 19!

Can we announce early winners?
Hi Rene, once the designs have been narrowed down to the top three submissions for each school
by the FLVS President the public will be able to vote for the final winners. Public Voting will be from November 9 – 17, 2021.
