A Year of Resilience at FLVS Full Time

As I reflect on the 2019-20 school year, I am reminded of how resilient and steadfast we are. This year’s graduating seniors were born into this world post 9/11, during a time of great uncertainty, and when online education was “just a thing of the future.”

Now they are online graduates during our lifetime’s first major pandemic. It may seem unimaginable, but here we are, persevering!

As the principal of our FLVS Full Time middle school, I am proud of the commitment our students and families have demonstrated during these final months of school. However uncertain and unimaginable these times may feel, there is one thing I am certain of, our Megabytes are both resilient and steadfast in trailblazing the future of this world and education! We know that each of our students’ home lives may look and feel different during this time, but our students have not wavered in their commitment to completing their schoolwork with excellence.

We are so thrilled to know that many of our families are returning to our great school next year and are again putting their trust in us. Serving students and families with excellence is something we take very seriously at FLVS. While we are looking forward to a wonderful and much deserved summer break, we are also beginning to plan for students’ return in the 2020-21 school year.

As students work to close out the school year and complete courses, we encourage you all to stay connected. Don’t hesitate to reach out to family, friends, and teachers for support – and just to say hello!

Again, we want to express our sincerest gratitude and thanks to our students, and of course our families, for supporting your student, supporting our schools, and ensuring that FLVS Full Time continues to grow.

We wish you all a wonderful, safe, and healthy summer!
