Purple Up Day: April 15, 2023
Purple Up Day for military children is April 15th! Purple Up was established by the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension Military Youth and Family Program as a day to recognize and honor military children and families. Military families make many sacrifices and overcome a variety of challenges, and this is a day for communities to come together and let military children know that they are supported and appreciated. Below are some ways you can support:
- Recognize military children
Take the time to appreciate any military children you know. Your support can make a huge difference. - Wear purple
You can wear purple as a way to show support for military kids. It’s an easy way to participate in the holiday. Share photos of your purple attire here - Listen to military personnel
You can listen to a speech or have a one-on-one conversation with a military member. They have many inspiring stories to tell.
